TURKEYWalmart gave notice this week to about 600 employees at its Bethlehem distribution center that they’ll be out of work by June. A Walmart corporate spokesperson told lehighvalleylive.com the employees will get 90 days’ severance pay. What about the needs of the 600 employees? Walmart said “the hope” is for these employees to transfer to other Walmart jobs. For now, though, we can take a deep breath and acknowledge the effort that went into bringing the fire under control.
